Orders and Payments: The Purple Rose online checkout process is a means of gathering information.  All orders are processed manually through our in store point of sale system. Custom orders will receive an email with their order in detail before payments are processed.  See "Custom Items in Store and on the Web".

Order Cancellations or Changes:
If you would like to cancel or change your order please let us know within 3 days of the date on our emailed confirmation.  After 3 days from this time we send the order off to our vendors and a 50% non refundable deposit, via the payment method you have provided to us, will be charged.  The balance will be due once your order has shipped from our vendor. Unfortunately any orders in store or online that are canceled after the 3 day time period will incur a 25% restocking fee with no exceptions. 

Shipping Policy: All in stock items will be shipped within 3 business days of purchase. Many of our bedding lines are made to order. In event of a backorder we will allow the customer to cancel the order. Items will be shipped via UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex. Shipping charges will vary per item. Turn around times differ per vendor.  See our Shipping page for more information on shipping for individual companies.  Please contact us for any other turnarounds that may not be listed on our website. Shipping charges are non refundable and customer is responsible for finding a return shipper as well as the return shipment cost on all returns.  Orders that were offered free shipping and that are returned will have standard shipping deducted from their refund as well.

Please Note: Free Shipping applies only to shipping within the Unites States. For orders out of the US, please email customerservice@purplerosehome.com for a shipping quote. Canada orders please place your order directly online. We will email you with a shipping quote.  Our order form is only a means of gathering your information, all payments are processed manually. Your order can still be can cancelled if the shipping quote does not suit you. 
 
Coupon Codes: The Purple Rose offers coupon codes for various items and promotions. Coupons can not be combined with any other offers. It is possible our system may accept a coupon  on an invalid item, attempting to use said coupon on other promotions, including but not limited to already discounted items and free shipping, will be voided when your order is processed. 
 
Website Return Policy: 
All custom items are final sale, please see below for custom order descriptions. Please also see below for items that incur restocking fees. Returns will not be accepted after 14 days of the arrival of your order. If you wish to return an item that is not considered custom, please fill out our Returns/Exchanges Form. After reviewing, we will provide you via email with a return authorization and shipping address.  Please note that many items are dropped shipped directly from the manufacturer and will need to be shipped directly back to them. Any items returned to our Massachusetts address without prior authorization will be returned to you and additional shipping charges will apply.

Items must be received within 15 days from date of the authorization in perfect condition and in original packaging. All shipping charges are nonrefundable and return shipment will be paid by the customer.  Returned items that are unfit for resale due to (but not limited to) pet hair, cigarette smoke, or are dirty will be sent back to the customer with additional shipping charges. Casafina and Juliska items that are not in stock will be considered custom and will not be returnable.  Customer will be notified if these items are not in stock. See below for custom items return policy.

Free Shipping items returned or exchanged:
The Purple Rose offers free shipping on a variety of products.  If you would like to return an item that was shipped free and falls under returnable items, then the refund will be processed for the amount of the item minus standard shipping prices to cover our costs. If you would like to exchange an item that was shipped free and falls under returnable items, an additional standard shipping charge will apply to cover our costs.  If the item/s you wish to return are defective, then no additional shipping will incur and the item will be exchanged as we reserve the right to exchange the damaged or defective item.

Custom Items in store and on the web:
Custom orders are made to order and are not returnable or refundable.  Custom orders pertain to all furniture and bedding, Aidan Gray furniture and lighting, all Bella Notte Linens and Apparel, BSC upholstery furniture, Currey and Company lighting, Guildmaster furniture, Justin Camlin furniture, all Matteo, Pine Cone Hill bedding, Oopsy Daisy, Juliska and Casafina are considered custom if the items are not in stock.  You will be notified in this case.  We are happy to help you with any and all questions regarding our return policy and about your order that you may have and swatches are available for most bedding and upholstery orders.  Your custom web order will be followed up with a confirmation from The Purple Rose. Please note that different fabrics, woods, and other home furnishing elements have different wearability, and the nature of these items are uncontrollable.

Please inspect your order thoroughly upon arrival for any damages or mistakes.  Furniture deliveries must be inspected thoroughly and completely and all damages or imperfections must be documented with the driver for quality assurance and speedy resolution

Bedding Orders:
Our bedding lines, i.e. Matteo, Bella Notte Linens, and Pine Cone Hill are extensive lines with many color and fabric options to choose from, therefore all bedding orders will be custom made to order.  When placing your bedding order please note that dye lots can vary and we recommend ordering all items of the same color in one order to ensure continuity.  The Purple Rose as well as the manufacturer of your custom bedding order assume no responsiblity on dye lot variation on items of the same color placed in separate orders. 

*BEDDING Please Note:  The Purple Rose recommends using the utmost care when laundering any items with a tassel or an unfinished edge. Hand washing or using a garment bag is preferred by The Purple Rose.  The Purple Rose will not accept any returns on Tat, Hammock, or any other Matteo Bedding with raw edges that have been damaged during any washing process.

*Please Note:  When placing orders for Bella Notte Linens, there will be no guarentee of delivery for Christmas if your order is placed after October 15, 2012.  Any orders placed after this date, may deliver after Christmas and The Purple Rose will not be responsible for any delays.

Furniture: Most of our furniture items have a distressed finish that is deliberate and not to be considered defective.  Some manufacturers, i.e. Justin Camlin and Redford House, allow the customer to control the level of distressing. Other lines are uncontrollable and this is how they were designed to look.  An extra charge may occur with Redford House when controlling distressing.

Due to the nature of natural elements being used for most of our furniture pieces, i.e. wood and metal, furniture pieces may fluctuate over time due to the levels of humidity in you climate area.  Expanding and contracting of furniture in humid areas may cause the wood to split naturally.  This is not a defect and will not affect the durability of the piece.  High moisture areas may also cause rusting on pieces made from metal.

Other natural occurrences in painted wood furniture may be the visibility of knots or the wood grain over time.  This is also not a defect and will not affect the structure of the piece of furniture.  Touch up paint may be available depending on the manufacturer.

Some fabrics for upholstery pieces may have fabrics with embroidery or texture that may loosen.  Not all loose embroidery is considered defective.  If single strings on embroidery loosen, do not pull these strings.  Simply snip them as close to the piece of furniture without damaging further.  Please see specific vendor warranties for information on defective fabric.

*PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL SHIPPING TIME FRAMES ARE A GUIDELINE.  Items may deliver sooner and in some cases after the proposed ship date, which is out of the hands of The Purple Rose. The Purple Rose will notify the customer as soon as we are aware if your order is on back order or may be delayed beyond a reasonable time frame.  Please be patient with any delayed orders as we are anxiously awaiting their ship date as well.

Online Payment Policy: The Purple Rose accepts American Express, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards.  Orders placed are not charged immediately.  We manually process all orders into our point of sale system after our 3 day ordering grace period (found above).

Privacy Policy: Here at the Purple Rose, we value our customers and respect your privacy. We assure you that all information you provide us during payment is safe. Paypal is a secure and well renowned site used by millions of people everyday.

Vintage Items: All vintage items are final sale. These items are one of a kind and described as accurately as possible. Before making a purchase please contact us via email or by phone, to request any other information about the item that you might require.

In Store Return Policy:  All items purchased in Store are final sale.  Please ask about our "Take and Try" program.  Any item you can carry out, you will have 24 hours to bring the item to your home and check for matches to your existing decor, in exchange you will leave a credit card number or a check that will be charged or cashed if the item is not purchased or returned to the store after 24 hours. Any damages to the item while out on loan will result in the full charge of the item on your credit card or in the case of a check it will be deposited. Please do not confuse the website return policy with the instore policy.
